Andrey’s 22nd

This past Thursday night was the last week of east coast swing for ballroom dancing. I had a lot of trouble with the later steps. On Sunday night, I met Andrey and several of his friends at Mona’s Café on Carrollton gathered to celebrate Andrey’s 22nd birthday. The staff there was very accommodating. We ordered some combination platters but Andrey and his friends also brought a cake and some adult beverages.Later in the evening, a few of us went down to Frenchman Street after making stops at Tulane and Andrey’s place. We stopped in a few places including d.b.a. and the Apple Barrel. When we left to go home at around one, I was pretty tired. I didn’t have any trouble getting a cab home.
