A Day at Work and A Late Night on Bourbon St.

I was at work at Mid-City this afternoon. Nothing out of the ordinary there, transcribed a few reports. My friend Khadijah got in town this evening. We had plans to go out but nothing materialized until after 11:00. We stopped by Taco Bell first for something to eat. Dorcas and her friend Evan met us there and we elected to go to the French Quarter. We were around there for a while walking around. I got home around 3:30.

300th Post – Lawn Work and Some Sunlight

This is the 300th post in this log. I was home today without much to do so I decided to mow the lawn which I did. I made spaghetti for dinner and that was pretty much my day.

Some Phone Calls and A Broken Clock

The weekend was rather quiet. I didn't go anywhere and my brothers were visiting my grandma and aunt in Metarie. I went to work this morning after starting red beans for dinner. I didn't have much to do today aside from answer the phones. I was by myself in the afternoon and fielded several calls from people responding to an ad for a nurse. Aside from that I had nothing else to do so I took an old broken flip clock and tried to fix it. The display mechanism was in pieces. I wasn't able to finish by the time I went home so I spend some time in the evening fixing it. I was on the computer later in the evening.
