The pleasant of the weather of the past few days was made a distant memory with the heave rain and severe weather throughout the area.  Daytime TV was quite frequently interrupted by weather reports concerning tornado warnings and the like.  A handful of mobile homes were destroyed in outlying areas.  There was also a school shooting in the lower 9th ward that further interrupted the soap operas.  There was some dictation to do, which I finished before 11.  After I finished cleaning the two hydrocollators around two I ran out of work to do.  Mom picked me up after five.  We ordered pizza for dinner.
