A Wednesday Without Warrant

There isn't much to speak of today. I was at home again. Star Trek Deep Space Nine has been running in marathon on Spike TV and a series of episodes held my attention in the afternoon. Making dinner was a little difficult as there hasn't been much shopping done, but we had some white beans in the fridge and I managed to get by.

Plumbing Fixed

Uncle Larry came by the house today to look at the same problem as last week, this time it was fixed. There was a rotted pipe under the sink that was repaied after some loud noises.

Church… Twice

After church I sat around the house, and on the computer. I got around to mowing the lawn in the afternoon. This evening my family went to my grandmother's for dinner and I went to a church service with a friend. She, and some others with whom I'm acquainted are Jehova's Witnesses. This particular service was basically their version of an Easter service, 'visitors' are uniquely invited to this particular service. The service seemed to be catered to us 'visitors' as the presentation was an explanation of their beliefs regarding Jesus's death and eternal salvation, they vary considerably from mine.

April Fools Day

I was at home again for the usual routine. I found some amusment in the April Fools pranks taking place on many websites. I watched “Lost in Translation” this evening, a nice little movie. The camera manual and brochure I ordered arrived today. I always find it fascinating reading old advertisments. Product literature back them must have been much more thorough.

Nothing More Facinating than the Weather

I was at home Monday and Tuesday doing nothing of circumstance. Today I went to work with my dad. He needed a new computer set up for the west bank office so I tagged along. Before going to the mid-city office we stopped by the new west bank office to pick up some paper work for the occupational license. It was my first time seeing that office, it seems nice enough. After that we stopped by Gretna City Hall, a quaint little building. While walking towards the building a bird crapped on my arm and watch. It certainly wasn't a pleasant experience, but I quickly realized it could have been worse as it could have landed on my head. It was no trouble rinsing off my arm. Anyway we turned the paperwork without too much trouble, although it would generate some drama later in the day, none of which I was involved in. I spend the afternoon at the Mid-City office. I did get the computer set up, but that wasn't much trouble. I spent more time listening to music. After returning home I went to bed for a quick nap but didn't wake until 8:30 PM. I guess I was more than a little tired. I wandered around a bit and then went back to my room. I fooled around on the computer a bit and watched “The Mission.”
