Construction Log

I documented the progress making Mr. B's Domain Version 8 with this simple log.

Day 1 - 8/02/08 - Established basic layout (drew a picture) and logo concept, new section titles.

Day 2 - 8/03/08 - Did most of the coding and graphics work for the header including header background.

Day 3 - 8/04/08 - Started coding the home page, fought with sub header DIV alignment, still not working in IE, created text logo and fought text logo alignment for Internet Explorer.

Day 4 - 8/05/08 - Fixed header logo issue (pngfix.js added SPAN code), created cubed Mr. B logo.

Day 5 - 8/06/08 - Explored color possibilities, refined header code.

Day 6 - 8/08/08 - Fixed some IE related issues, deferred to tables for sub-header container, completed homepage with some graphics for new sections, started coding core.php

Day 7 - 8/09/08 - Finished coding core.php with help of bas at webmaster-talk.com who provided the proper echo code for body id generator. Started coding content pages including about.php, movielist.php and portfolio.php.

Day 8 - 8/10/08 - Coded portfolio content pages and converted vaio_wallpapers.php. Table border spacing issue remains on VAIO wallpaper page.

Day 9 - 8/11/08 - Experimented with color scheme, ended the day with a minty green background.

Day 10 - 8/12/08 - finalized vaio_wallpapers.php with some small fixes

Day 11 - 8/14/08 - Changed color scheme again to the colors seen at launch.

Day 12 - 8/15/08 - Altered news archive template to match new site. Converted site pages and log posts to Unicode. Created new embedded theme for gallery. Site went down before finishing touches could be done.

Day 13 - 8/16/08 - Finished gallery theme. Created graphics for and coded vaio.php, amended about.php, replaced PNG fix solution, still not entirely working. Coded constructionlog.php. Launched Mr. B's Domain Version 8.
